Meet our Physicians

For our patient’s convenience, Manny Gallego, M.D., Yasser Jabri, M.D. and Salvatore Chillemi, M.D. are on staff at Kennestone Hospital, Cartersville Medical Center, Northside Hospital-Cherokee and Floyd Medical Center. They are medical directors for dialysis centers in Marietta, Cartersville and Rome.

Dr. Manny Gallego, M.D.
Manny Gallego, M.D. is Board-Certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine in the Specialty of Nephrology. Dr. Gallego graduated Valedictorian and Cum Laude from the University of Saint Tomas School of Medicine. Dr. Gallego finished his internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, New York. Following his residency, Dr. Gallego moved to Atlanta where he received his fellowship in Nephrology at the Emory University Hospital. He has been in practice in the Atlanta since 1995. His specialty interests include: hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, prevention of kidney stones and glomerulonephritis. Dr. Gallego was a recipient of a National Kidney Foundation award, as well as an award from the American Federation of Clinical research for his research in kidney disease.
Dr. Yasser Jabri, M.D.
Yasser Jabri, M.D. is Board-Certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine in the Specialty of Nephrology. Dr. Jabri earned his medical degree from The University of Damascus, Syria. Dr. Jabri finished his internship, residency and chief residency at St. John Hospital Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Following his residency, Dr. Jabri remained at St. John Hospital to complete his Nephrology fellowship. Dr. Jabri’s professional memberships include The American Society of Nephrology and The Renal Physician Association. Dr. Jabri is married with three children.
Dr. Salvatore Chillemi, M.D.
Salvatore Chillemi, M.D. is Board-Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the Specialty of Nephrology. Dr. Chillemi earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, and finished his internship, residency, and fellowship training at The University of Medicine and Dentistry Of New Jersey (UMDNJ, now Rutgers). Following his Internal Medicine training Dr. Chillemi worked at Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu Hawaii before returning to NJ for fellowship. Dr. Chillemi’s professional memberships include The American Society of Nephrology, and The Renal Physicians Association. Special interests/Hobbies include SOCCER, family, travel, and food and wine. Dr. Chillemi is married with two children.
